A risk assessment is undertaken through a prior visit.
Owners of hired vehicles are asked to provide insurance details
Parents are required to provide safety seating for all the children. Seating is for one individual only and all belts and harnesses are used.
On the day all essential records and equipment including the first aid box plus working mobile phones are taken on the outing.
Procedures in the event of an emergency are made aware to all accompanying adults. A staff car is taken on the outing in case a parent/carer or child needs to return to the setting quickly.
