Confidentiality

All information about the children and/or their families at Head Start is confidential.

All private and confidential information is kept within the confines of the schooland is only accessible to staff as required. No other parent, visitor or child shall gain access to this information unless permission has been sought and given.

Information regarding personnel employed at the school remains confidential to the Headteacher.

All members of staff and any students on training schemes are advised of thisconfidentiality policy and required to respect it.

Should a member of staff not keep information confidential, the disciplinary procedure will be commenced.

Should a student on placement break confidentiality, the college will be informed and the placement ended.
